Whole
Whole
This work reflects on the struggle between imposed societal ideals and inner identity, and the duality between perfection and imperfection.
One vessel maintains a traditional, symmetrical form, symbolizing societal expectations of flawlessness. The other was shattered and intuitively reassembled, its red seams exposing the raw, transformative process of healing.
In their contrast, the vessels invite the viewer to reflect on what makes us truly whole – the appearance of perfection, or the courage to break free and embrace our imperfection?
